Free website report

See your website the way your customers see it

Send us your web address. We check how it loads and reads on a phone, whether it is secure, and how easy it is for someone to call you or ask for a quote. You get a short report in plain English, by email, within two business days.

What the report covers

Five checks, each one something a customer notices before they ever call. Forager, our website audit engine, measures them, so every finding comes from your live site.

  • Speed on a phone

Your Google PageSpeed score on mobile, and the one or two things that slow the page down the most.

  • Mobile layout

Whether the page fits a phone screen, or makes a visitor pinch and zoom to read your services.

  • Security

Whether the site loads over a secure connection, or shows visitors a “Not secure” warning in the address bar.

  • Calls and quote requests

Whether your phone number is on the page, whether one tap dials it, and whether there is a quick way to ask for a quote.

  • What to fix first

The one change most likely to bring in more calls, written so you or your current web person can make it.

Rather do it by email? Write to trace@maincoursemedia.com or call (214) 833-5706.

How it works

Three steps, and two of them are ours

  1. Send your web address

The form takes about a minute. No card, and nothing to sign.

  2. Forager checks the site

Forager runs Google’s speed test on mobile and checks the layout, the security, and every way a customer can reach you. Trace reviews each finding before anything goes out.

  3. The report lands in your inbox

A short PDF in plain English, within two business days.

FAQ

Before you send it

Is the report really free?

Yes. There is no card to enter, no contract, and no call you have to sit through to get it. If you want help afterward, reply to the email. If not, the report is yours to keep.

I don’t have a website yet. Can I still ask?

Yes. Tick “I do not have a website yet” on the form. Instead of a report on a site, you get a short plan for a first one: the pages a business like yours needs and what customers will look for on them.

What if the report finds problems?

Many fixes are small, and the report says which ones you can make yourself. If you would rather have a new site, ours is $2,000 paid in full, or $200/mo on a 12-month agreement, with hosting and edits included.

What happens to my details?

They go to Trace and nowhere else. We never sell or share them, and you will not end up on a mailing list.
